Terms and Conditions

All information will be provided to you on paper at our first meeting, including how counselling works, your rights and what to do if you have a complaint.

In brief:

Confidentiality:

Everything that we discuss is kept completely confidential. According to NZCCA and NZAC guidelines, there is a limit to confidentiality when there is risk of harm to either you or someone else. We will discuss what this means in our first session, so you can ask any questions you may still have about this.

Cancellation Policy:

I encourage you to attend all of your appointments as an investment into your wellbeing. After two missed appointments we may need to pause counselling until you are in a better position to be able to attend regularly.

Please contact me as far in advance as possible to change or cancel your appointment, or use the appointment calendar to make changes. Cancellations less than two hours prior to your appointment will incur the full fee amount.

Payment Policy:

I will provide you with bank details for an online deposit, or you can pay in cash. I can issue you a receipt for your records. Payment can be made in advance if you wish, but can be paid not later than a week following the appointment.
